ATLANTA, Ga. – On August 29, Hope to Dream made a generous donation of 50 bed sets to the Pearls of Purpose Foundation, Inc. and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta (BGCMA). Selected children received their own bed set at a special event at the Warren Club of BGCMA. This donation aims to directly benefit children in the Atlanta metro area, providing them with a comfortable and nurturing place to sleep.
Through the Hope to Dream organization, children in need are provided with a brand-new bed, complete with a mattress, bedding, and a pillow. The organization's mission is to create positive, long-lasting effects on children's lives by offering them a better night's sleep and the opportunity to thrive. A portion of every mattress purchased at participating Ashley stores helps Hope to Dream provide beds to children in need.
"We are thrilled to contribute 50 bed sets to Pearls of Purpose and BGCMA, as it aligns perfectly with our goal of bringing healthy sleep to children in need," said Ben Thorud, President of Hope to Dream. "We believe that everyone deserves a good night's sleep, and it is our honor to support these organizations in their efforts to uplift and empower children in the Atlanta community."
Pearls of Purpose Foundation, Inc., has intentionally and positively impacted the lives of people within the Metro-Atlanta community for over 25 years. They do this through partnerships with non-profits, providing educational scholarships to graduating seniors, supporting financial literacy, mental health awareness and social advocacy programs.
"We are incredibly grateful to Hope to Dream for their generous donation," expressed KeyAnder Early, Pearls of Purpose Foundation, Inc. President. "Thanks to their support, we will be able to make a tangible difference in the lives of children within the Atlanta community. This donation will undoubtedly have a positive impact on their overall well-being, encouraging healthy sleep habits that promote success and happiness."
BGCMA carefully selected children who will benefit from this donation, ensuring it reaches those who are most in need. The club is renowned for its commitment to providing underprivileged children with a safe place to learn and grow, as well as opportunities for academic success, positive relationships, and healthy lifestyles.
"Hope to Dream's generous donation of bed sets to Pearls of Purpose Foundation, Inc. and BGCMA is an incredible gift for the children in our community,” stated Trimika Clements, Executive Director of Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta. “We are so grateful for their support in providing a comfortable and nurturing place to sleep for these deserving children."
