Lake Grove, N.Y. – On March 7, 2023, Ashley, the #1 furniture and mattress store in North America, partnered with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island to provide 15 local children with a new bed through the Hope to Dream organization.
“We are proud to be a member of this community and to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island in their mission of serving children,” Justin Chrinian, Chief Revenue Officer stated. “They have served the Long Island area for over 40 years, and we are happy to be a part of their efforts.”
Hope to Dream receives the majority of its mattress donations from Ashley. Mattress purchases from Ashley stores help Hope to Dream fulfill its mission of providing every child with a good night’s sleep. Since 2010, Hope to Dream has donated more than 140,000 bed sets to children in need.
In addition to this donation, Ashley celebrated the grand opening of the new 22,556 sq. ft. showroom located at 3230 Middle Country Road. The Ashley team was joined by Robert J. Scottaline, the Mayor of Lake Grove and other community members.
The store is owned and operated by Eugene Chrinian, who owns 23 additional Ashley retail locations in the surrounding region. The 24th store employs approximately 15 people. Ashley has more than 1,125 locations worldwide.
