Ashley Gives Atlanta-Metro Residents Two New Ways to Shop for Home Furnishings

ATLANTA, GA [12/20/22] – The weekend of Saturday, December 10th, Ashley celebrated its two newest store openings in the Atlanta-Metro area; a brand-new Ashley in Cumberland, GA and, new store concept, Ashley Outlet in Morrow, GA.

Ashley hosted a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of its new 29,000 sq. ft. showroom in Cumberland, located near The Battery and Cumberland Mall. The showroom features a large selection of mattresses – Tempur Pedic, Purple, Sealy, and Ashley Sleep, etc. in addition to new product designs for the living room, dining, master bedroom, and outdoor furniture categories. This is the most recent Ashley store to open in the state, the 16th store in Georgia. Technology enhances the environment, incorporating various elements to improve the customer shopping experience.

While the Ashley location in Morrow has been in business for years, transforming this store to an Ashley Outlet will now provide Atlanta-area residents more ways to shop for home furnishings. This marks the third Ashley Outlet store for the state. The Outlet will carry a mix of new product selections with prices starting at $300 for beds, $450 for sofas, and $90 for barstools.

Ashley introduced the Ashley Outlet store concept earlier this year in Canton, GA, aiming to give customers a first-of-its-kind home furnishing store concept, stemming from the world’s largest furniture manufacturer, Ashley Furniture Industries. The Outlet stores focus on guest convenience and providing quality products – most products being ‘grab and go’ so customers can take products home the same day.

“We’re thrilled to give Atlanta residents two new ways to shop for America’s largest retail furniture brand.” Vice President of Sales, Aaron Leroux said. “We look forward to meeting customers where they are and continuing to be a major partner in the Atlanta community.”

For both Grand Openings the first 100 people received $100 Ashley Cash towards a purchase. Guests also had the opportunity to win hourly prizes and a $2,500 shopping spree. The stores will bring more than 20 new jobs to the greater Atlanta area.
