Three K Company Celebrates Grand Opening of the First Ashley Store in Somalia
Mogadishu, Somalia – In early May, TThree K Company proudly unveiled its first Ashley showroom with a Grand Opening and Ribbon-Cutting ceremony. The 6,100 sq. ft. facility, located at Digfeer Road, Hodan District, Mogadishu, Banadir, Somalia, marks a significant addition to the local community. Distinguished guests, including Omar Ali, Deputy Minister of Defense; Gamal Mohamed Hassan, Minister of Commerce and Industry; Ali Fahle, District Leader of the Hodan District; Adan Abdullahi, Senior Manager of Shuraako Capital; Mark Marais, Vice President of Africa and UK for Ashley; and Reshma Maru, International Marketing Specialist for Eastern Africa, joined Three K Company employees in celebrating this milestone.
This is the first Ashley store in the country of Somalia. The Mogadishu store will employ approximately 10 people. Ashley, the largest furniture store brand in North America and one of the world’s best-selling home furnishing brands, proudly serves over 75 countries across the world.

Customers can also experience Ashley’s new bedding gallery featuring Ashley Sleep® and Nectar mattresses.
