J&S Furniture Celebrates Grand Opening of New Ashley Store & Ashley Outlet in Okemos, MI 

North America’s largest furniture store brand expands its U.S. presence with new location 

OKEMOS, Mich. – On November 8, J&S Furniture proudly unveiled its newest Ashley showroom and Ashley Outlet with a Grand Opening and Ribbon-Cutting ceremony. The 80,000 sq. ft. facility, located at 1982 W Grand River Ave, Okemos, MI 48864, marks a significant addition to the local community. Distinguished guests, including the Meridian Township City Supervisor, Meridian County Fire Chief and local city representatives, joined J&S Furniture employees in celebrating this milestone.  

J&S Furniture owns two additional Ashley stores in the surrounding region. This is the 17th store to open in the state of Michigan. The Okemos store will employ approximately 53 people.

The new store showcases Ashley’s innovative 7.0 store concept, featuring a simplified, bright and open floor plan to enhance the shopping experience. Customers can explore complete lifestyle vignettes with detailed lighting, rugs, and wall art. Product offerings include bedroom, dining room, upholstery, leather, occasional tables, home office, youth bedroom, recliners, mattresses and accessories. Customers can also experience Ashley’s new mattress gallery featuring Ashley Sleep®, Nectar, and Tempur-Pedic® mattresses.
