ARCADIA, Wis. – Ashley Furniture Industries, LLC (Ashley) continued their annual Arbor Day employee tree distribution at their North Carolina, Mississippi, Pennsylvania, Texas and Wisconsin facilities. Each year, Ashley distributes over 6,000 trees to the employees in observance of Arbor Day. Since 1993, over 100,000 trees have been donated by Ashley and planted over the years.
This initiative is a part of Ashley’s environmental stewardship efforts and has become an honored tradition. In addition to the Arbor Day tree distribution, Ashley has hosted annual tree-planting workshops with local schools since 2006. The students learn planting techniques, the benefits of planting trees and have the opportunity to get hands-on experience with planting trees.
