LUSAKA, Zambia – On May 13, 2023, Poundstretcher celebrated the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of its new 968 sq. ft. Ashley Furniture HomeStore showroom located on B294-4301 Eureka Park Kafue Road, Lusaka, Zambia. Special guest Mr. John Mulongoti, Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry; Istem Circiroglu, Ambassador for the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey; Mark Marais, Vice President of Sales for Africa for Ashley Furniture joined Poundstretcher ownership and employees at the event.
Poundstretcher owns two additional Ashley Furniture HomeStores in the surrounding region. This is the first Ashley Furniture HomeStores in Zambia. The Lusaka store will employ approximately 10 people. Ashley Furniture HomeStore, one of the world’s best-selling home furnishing brands, has more than 1,125 locations worldwide.
