ARCADIA, Wis. - For the fourth consecutive year, Ashley Charitable Foundation (ACF), a foundation created by Ashley Furniture Industries, LLC (Ashley), has contributed a generous donation of $7,500 towards the Walk to End Alzheimer's event. This donation will provide continuous support towards the mission to end Alzheimer’s and all other forms of dementia.
Since 2020, over $22,000 has been donated by ACF to help contribute to the care, research and support efforts made by The Alzheimer’s Association, while continuing to help provide better education towards Alzheimer’s disease, help advance research, treatment, and prevention.
“We’re very excited to have such a committed partner in the fight to end Alzheimer’s. Ashley is dedicated to their community, and we’re grateful for their involvement in supporting families who are on this devastating journey,” stated CJ Werley, Walk to End Alzheimer’s Manager. “In 2022, Ashley’s contributions helped in raising over $88,000 in La Crosse, breaking an all-time fundraising revenue record by over $5,000.”
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s event will be held in La Crosse, WI on Saturday, September 16, 2023, and has been hosted in more than 600 communities nationwide throughout the year. This event brings together participants of all ages and abilities in the fight against Alzheimer’s and is the world’s largest event that raises awareness and funding for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. While there is no fee to register for the walk, all participants are encouraged to raise critical funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support and advance research toward methods of prevention, treatment and, ultimately, a cure.
