STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – On April 21, Ashley HomeStore in Staten Island, New York celebrated the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of its new 35,000 sq. ft. showroom located on 2845 Richmond Avenue in the Richmond Shopping Center. Special guests Deputy Borough, President Ed Burke, and Chief of Staff Jason Razefsky joined Ashley HomeStore employees at the event.
The new store is owned and operated by Abdul Ayyad, who owns a total of 18 additional Ashley HomeStores in the surrounding region. This is the 26th Ashley HomeStore in the state of New York. The Staten Island showroom will employ approximately 150 people. Ashley HomeStore, the number one selling furniture store brand in the world, has more than 825 locations worldwide.

Shoppers enjoyed 60% off everything all day during the grand opending festivities.
The Staten Island showroom features complete lifestyle vignettes, down to the final detail of lighting, rugs and wall art. Product categories include bedroom, dining room, upholstery, leather, occasional tables, home office, youth bedroom, recliners, mattresses and accessories.
