SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Ashley Homestores’ Hope to Dream and Utah Jazz, partnered to provide forty less fortunate children with a new bed. The event took place at Vivint Smart Home Arena, home of the Utah Jazz, on Wednesday, April 4
Each child received a mattress, bedframe, sheet set, pillow, and Jazz gear. Former Jazz player, Thurl Bailey, attended the event as well as cheerleaders and Mascot, Jazz the Bear. Games, food, and a performance by the Utah Jazz Dunk team were all part of the fun.
Jessica, one of the 50,000 children who has received a bed through Hope to Dream stated, It wasn’t that we didn’t have dreams before. But it inspired us that those dreams were realistic dreams…we could provide a better future for ourselves and our parents.
