HOOD RIVER, Ore. – Murray's Furniture in Hood River opened a new Ashley HomeStore at the previous site of sister store, Murray's Furniture Clearance Center on Saturday, March 31.
Fifteen years ago, Murray's Furniture relocated their Trading Post location from downtown Odell to 1105 Tucker Road in Hood River and began business as Murray's Furniture Clearance Center. During their decade and a half in operation, Murray’s Furniture Clearance Center developed a strong working relationship with Ashley Furniture, the world’s largest manufacturer or furniture and number one retailer of home furnishings in North America. Ashley's commitment to quality, style, customer service, and punctual delivery sets them apart from other manufacturers, while their products encompassed the majority of sales at the Clearance Center for those very reasons.
In 2017, Murray's Furniture Clearance Center was selected by Ashley as a candidate for a new Ashley HomeStore. This is credit to the amazing growth potential of the Columbia River Gorge and the phenomenal sales that the company has experienced in the area through the two Murray’s Furniture locations.
